Biography

Formed in 2002 By Elysia and G as a Nightwish tribute band - to get accustomed with the genre until they start writing their own songs. Duringe the first few years the band played several shows and gained a good experience, went through all the necessary changes of the band members to find the final lieup.

In 2005, HeavenBlade recorded their Demo, called Rising. It made a good reputation to the band, on-line radio stations were playing the music and the release got a good handful of positive critics. In this period, G moved to Scotland, then, after a year, the others followed him so the lineup mixed up with Scottish artists.

During the spring of 2010, the folks locked themselves in at LedersFarm Residetial Studios, and with the great help of the legendary producer, Nick Birne (of Darkness), and the not-so-famous-but-just-as-great sound engineer and producer Owen Morgan (of Lost Levels), they recorded their debut album, The Melody of Oblivion. The tracks were recorded by Owen, the album was mixed and produced by G, and co-produced by Owen and HappyDays Doug.

After the recording few shows were played in Scotland, and a few acoustic ones in Hungary. During this time a media sponsorship arrangement was made with Radio Kontakt, and a music video started to evolve for the song Legion. Now, the band is practicing for the Tour of Oblivion, a set of shows kicking out in Scotland from the March of 2012, and G is composing the music for the upcoming album, the Metronomicon.
